Plans for the Carport of the Flip House
Well I know I have kept much of the plans for the flip house a secret but I will reveal one BIG detail today and it has to do with the carport. I left the demo of the carport out of the rest of the demo posts for good reason. First, we didn’t demo it right away and second, this is going to be the biggest transformation of the house. Are you ready to find out what is going to happen to that lovely screened in carport? What would you do with the carport area?
So here is the plan for the carport. We are turning this 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch house into 4 bedrooms, 3 baths! And you might have guessed it, the carport area will become 2 bedrooms and a full shared bath. We are closing in the carport to make this a split floor plan house. This is truly going to make the house stand out. I have carefully designed the house to work for today’s family. Also, in this particular area in real estate, 4 bedroom renovated homes are hard to come by in the price range we are going for (more on that at a later date). We really hope to appeal to a family that wants a move in ready home on a great quite street.
So for now we are going to take a look at a few of the before shots of the carport.

Behind those doors are an enormous closet.

The closet doors open to a large storage area that goes about 5 feet in. Wow! We will have plenty of room to make 2 bedrooms out of the carport.

And last but not least the lefthand side shelves. What do you think? Turning this unused carport into 2 bedrooms will give this house some uniqueness and a bunch of extra space! Can’t wait to show you some demo photos in the next post. Thank you as always for taking a look.
